The car has a turbocharged 1.1-liter 12A Wankel rotary engine modified by Pettit Racing around 1988. It's painted Spark Yellow with a brown vinyl and velour interior, and it features a five-speed manual transmission, a limited-slip differential from a newer RX-7, a Centerforce II clutch, four-wheel disc brakes, 15-inch Panasport wheels, a roll bar, and an aftermarket CD stereo, along with upgrades to the ignition, exhaust, and suspension. Recent maintenance included rebuilding the carburetor, flushing the brake fluid, and replacing the air filter, boost hose connections, tires, spark plugs, distributor cap, and rotor.
